Virtually Queer

According to a new study, LGBTQ folks use online social networking more than our heterosexual counterparts. To that I say, rock one! The online world of writing, networking, and well, let's be real, dating, is growing exponentially every second. To know that we are on the forefront of this social movement makes my little rainbow heart swell three sizes.

So, where my Queers at?:

Facebook- 55% of LGBT adults vs 46% heterosexual adults
Myspace - 43% LGBT vs 30% heterosexual
Twitter - 20% LGBT vs 12% heterosexuals

So the next time a social networking site asking you to identify yourself, or who you are 'interested' in, do it with pride!
