Barbarella talks Sex Ed

The lack of real sex ed in our schools right now is absolutely appalling. Seriously - those bundles of igniting hormones we call adolescents need information and understanding for how to grapple with their rapidly changing bodies. And we all know abstinence-only education just does not cut it.

Not only does abstinence-only education teach that condoms don't work, it also does not acknowledge any kind of same-sex attraction. Advocates for Youth has a great breakdown on the Responsible Education About Life (REAL) Act and what it covers. As well as how abstinence-only education is proven to not work.
